It was such a great opportunity to learn Spanish, and meet people. Mendoza is my favorite city in all of Argentina. It's at the foothills of the Andes and it is always sunny! Intercultural was also a perfect place to take Spanish lessons. I checked out a bunch of other schools around the country, and Intercultural offers everything and more than all the others. The teachers were great, and classes were always fun. It never felt like school. After classes there were always activities that really helped bond with other people from all over the world, and learn about the local culture more. There are also lots of opportunities to meet local people and go out with them, and practice more Spanish. The staff is great. They'll help you out with anything you need, and then go out and get a drink.I loved everything about the school. THANKS EVERYONE!!! besos |
| Students´Advocacy Group The "Asociación de Centros de Idiomas" (Language Schools Association) of the Argentine has a protection program for students learning Spanish as a foreign language DEFENSORIA DEL ESTUDIANTE allows users of credited centers to make suggestions, claims and any comments related to their experience as a student of Spanish in Argentina. In order to improve the services provided by our associates or to make a claim you may write to defensoria@spanishinargentina.org.ar | Iris van Wijk (Utrecht/Holanda): 28.11.08 I had classes for 7 weeks, with different profesors. I really enjoyed the classes because each profesor did his best to make it interesting. But what I enjoyed the most was the spacious school where there was enough possibilities to meet other students, I especially liked the barbeque at friday. As well they organise every day a nice activity which changes every week. I have experience with different language schools in south america but this one is my favorite! |
Consumer Defence If you consider that you have been mistreated at any shop or commerce in Mendoza or do not agree with their prices or services, you can make a complaint at the consumer defense office. "Control y Defensa del Consumidor" is a government office in which you are able to present a formal complaint and recieve a response or a compensation. Police Assistance for tourists Mendoza´s Police Department has an office at the Tourist office which has bilingual staff willing to help any tourist who might need police assistance. Direccion: Av.
